Hyderabad: The investigation into the murder case of former Andhra Pradesh minister YS Vivekananda Reddy has been accelerated by the CID officials. Recently, Uday Kumar, who is reportedly a close aide of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, nephew of Vivekananda Reddy, was arrested by the CID officials. According to sources, the CBI stated in his remand report that Uday Kumar Reddy, Sivashankar Reddy, and Avinash Reddy tampered with the evidence at the site of Viveka's murder. It is alleged that Uday Kumar visited Avinash Reddy's residence after Viveka's murder, which was revealed through Google Takeout location data. The CBI officials also claim that Uday Kumar Reddy allegedly attempted to cover up the injuries with stitches and band-aids, and approached his father Prakash Reddy to do so. However, Uday Kumar is reportedly not cooperating with the CBI officials during the investigation.
