Former Andhra Pradesh Minister Perni Nani has hit back at Telangana leaders who have been criticizing the AP government for the past two days. Specifically, Nani took aim at KTR, who claimed that pressure from Telangana led the Centre to backtrack on the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. Nani sarcastically asked whether the Centre had really changed its position on the plant due to KCR's government, and questioned why a similar outcome wasn't seen in Telangana with the Singareni issue. Nani also criticized Harish Rao, calling him the "most intelligent brain in politics" and accusing him of being willing to betray his own father-in-law KCR. He has made a reference of Chandrababu's name there to cite an example. Nani claimed to have friends in Telangana who were aware of issues in the state that the KCR government had failed to address properly.
