Hyderabad: Former Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy from the joint Mahabubnagar district have been suspended by the BRS party for alleged anti-party activities. The central office of the party issued a statement to this effect. Reacting to his suspension, Jupally Krishnarao stated that he was "very happy" to be suspended from the party. Jupally alleged that for two or three years, membership registration books were not provided, and there was doubt whether he was still a member of the BRS party. He further stated that he felt as if he had been released from a cage after being suspended from the party. He demanded answers from the Chief Minister, saying that he was suspended because the party was afraid that he would expose their wrongdoings.
