Karnataka: On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka for a safari. He was spotted wearing camouflage clothing and a hat before embarking on his adventure. During his visit, he also had the opportunity to interact with the field staff of the popular tiger reserve. The PMO tweeted a picture of the Prime Minister, stating that he was also planning to visit the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. This marks his eighth visit to Karnataka this year, and he is expected to visit frequently until the polling date on May 10th. The Bandipur Tiger Reserve is located in both the Gundlupet taluk of Chamarajanagar district and the H.D.Kote and Nanjangud taluks of Mysuru District. Prime Minister Modi spent approximately two hours at the wildlife sanctuary, during which he released a commemorative coin of ₹50 and presented a document evaluating the effective management of tiger reserves, as well as a vision document for tiger conservation.
