Jagtial: A police constable caused uproar when he allegedly misbehaved with a Sub-Inspector (SI) at the Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple. The constable, who was on security duty at the temple, was stopped by SI Purushotham at the check post on the way up the hill. The constable was riding a two-wheeler, which was not allowed to climb the hill. The constable identified himself as a police and claimed to be there for security duties. However, when asked to show his ID card, he became angry and spoke disrespectfully to the SI. Despite attempts by other police personnel on duty to calm the situation, the constable continued to behave inappropriately. A video of the incident was captured by a devotee and later shared on social media, quickly going viral. The constable in question is reportedly employed at the Chandurthi police station in Rajanna Sircilla district.
