The ruling party of Telangana, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), has created controversy by displaying a poster in Hyderabad to 'greet' Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to the city for the 54th CISF Raising Day parade. The poster featured the iconic "Nirma girl" alongside the faces of BJP leaders Himanta Biswa Sarma, Narayan Rane, Suvendu Adhikari, Sujana Chowdhary, Eshwarappa, and others who have recently joined the party from other parties. This move by the BRS has garnered attention at a time when their MLC and state Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao's daughter K Kavitha, is being interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi liquor case.
