On Monday morning, the forest department officials received information about the presence of four healthy tiger cubs in a house located in Gummadapuram village, situated in Nandyala district. The officials immediately reached the spot and took the cubs into their custody. A forest official reported that the tigress was still present in the vicinity and had been roaring and roaming within a 2-kilometer radius of the Kothapalli Mandal area in Nandyala district. Upon discovering the cubs, animal trackers acted swiftly and cordoned off the area. The forest department officials have also set up a considerable number of camera traps. The officials determined that the cubs were in good health and were approximately three to four months old. The officials are currently attempting to establish contact with the tigress and are hopeful that she will come and retrieve her cubs in the next 24 to 48 hours.
