Another tragic incident of a sudden cardiac arrest occurred in Hyderabad when a 38-year-old man collapsed while playing badminton. A video of the incident showed him lying on the ground, unconscious, while onlookers tried to revive him. The man, identified as Shyam Yadav, was playing badminton at the Prof Jayshankar Indoor Stadium in Lalapet, Secunderabad, on Wednesday. According to his family, he was a private employee and a dedicated sportsperson who played cricket and badminton daily after work. These frequent incidents of sudden cardiac arrests are a cause for concern and highlight the intense emotional and physical stress that many people experience, in addition to heavy alcohol consumption.
