In an effort to win an Oscar, director SS Rajamouli is now marketing his movie RRR in America. He used the occasion of this promotion to clarify a remark he made in 2009. Rajamouli compared actor Prabhas to Hrithik Roshan at a press conference for the Meher Ramesh-directed movie Billa and said that Prabhas was superior. Rajamouli has now apologised for his inappropriate comment and lauded Hrithik Roshan for his acting skills. He claimed that the remark was made in the past and that the words used were inappropriate, but he also made clear that he respects Hrithik Roshan.
