As the people of Ippatam stepped forward to assist him, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan vowed to always be at their side. On Sunday, Pawan Kalyan addressed a huge crowd in Mangalgiri and cited an elderly woman who referred to him as one of her sons. Nageswaramma has been specifically summoned by Pawan to the stage for the presentation of cheques to the locals. He personally persuaded the emotional elderly woman, who was holding him as his mother, to sit on one of the chairs on the stage. On that occasion, Pawan Kalyan recalled how the locals of Ippatam had backed the Jana Sena sabha and been encouraged by it to assist them. He gave the residents of Ippatam village an assurance that they will support them through their challenges.
