Malla Reddy, the minister of labour and employment for Telangana, claimed on Wednesday that the Income Tax (I-T) raids on his property were being carried out by the BJP government at the Centre out of "political vendetta." The Minister criticised the Central government for what he called a plot to target Malla Reddy and his family members as the I-T Department carried out searches at their offices and homes for a second day. He told reporters that members of the CRPF had treated his son in a disrespectful manner and said that "all this is occurring because I am the minister in the TRS government."
