Munugode constituency underwent significant growth and development under the TRS administration, according to Minister of IT and Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR). The Telangana Minister in an interview with TV9 Rajinikanth, denied claims that only during elections and by-elections, there is development witnessed in the state and in particular constituencies. Former MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy is accused by Minister KTR of failing to concentrate on constituency development during his four years as an MLA in the Munugode. The former MLA neglected 115 Gram Panchayats after his victory out of 159 Gram Panchayats, according to Mr. KTR.
