On Sunday, Vijayawada's Kanaka Durga Temple was visited by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who presented silk garments to the Goddess. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came to the temple with some ministers, lawmakers, and other public figures of seeing Sri Durga Devi and offer special pujas. During the Dasara Utsavams, the government has made sure that the thousands of devotees who visit the temple every day are secure. For devotees who will visit the Durga temple on Mula Nakshatram day who are physically challenged and senior folks, separate facilities have been arranged.
