It was the parents' nine-year wish to have their child's name given to them by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao(KCR). A girl was born in 2013 to Suresh and Anitha, a couple prominent in the Telangana movement from the hamlet of Nandigama in the Bhupalapalli mandal. They chose to give her daughter the name given by CM KCR after the then-leader of the Telangana movement. The infant girl has never had a name since birth. Former Assembly Speaker and local leader Madhusudhana Chari took the effort to bring the parents and the child to Pragathi Bhavan after learning about the situation. After learning of the situation, the CM KCR couple blessed Suresh and Anita and gave their daughter, Mahati, age 9, the name. The CM couple provided clothing in a conventional way. The girl received financial support for her study.
