Krishnam Raju, a veteran Tollywood actor and former Union minister, was laid to rest. State honours were bestowed on the last rites. It has been carried out in his farmhouse in the village of Kanakamamidi, which is adjacent to Moinabad in the Chevella region. Raju, often known as 'Rebel Star,' passed away early on Sunday at Hyderabad's AIG Hospital. He was 83. According to hospital authorities, he had post-COVID-19 complications. On August 5, he was admitted to the hospital. He is survived by his wife Shyamala Devi and three daughters. U Krishnam Raju was uncle of 'Baahubali' star Prabhas.
