East Godavari: The people of the Godavari districts are facing severe problems due to severe Godavari floods. In the shocking incident, a temple of Goddess Durga Devi collapsed in the Godavari river. According to the reports, the incident took place in Purushothampatnam in Sita Nagaram Mandal. It is learnt that the temple submerged in the Godavari river and washed away. There is no loss of people as the temple authorities alerted the people ahead of the incident and vacated the temple.
