Dinesh Khatik, the yogi government's minister of state for the Jal Shakti division, has resigned and filed a letter of resignation to Amit Shah, the union home minister. Dinesh Khatik accused the officers in his letter of resignation of failing to pay attention to and respect Dalits. His resignation with a justification has gained attention. According to reports, two additional ministers are dealing with the same treatment from the superior officials. Jitin Prasada, another minister, is also upset about the transfer issue and is scheduled to meet with BJP National President JP Nadda this evening. Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, criticised the Yogi Adityanath administration on the subject, claiming that Dalits are not given enough importance in Uttar Pradesh.
