Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert for both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The IMD cited that there is a possibility of extremely heavy rainfall in 14 districts of Telangana and predicted heavy rains for the next three days. Hyderabad and other districts in Telangana are reporting heavy rains. The IMD officials issued a red alert to Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and Yanam (Andhra Pradesh). Reports stated that heavy rains may hit Mancherial, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Mulugu, Nizamabad, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal (urban, Rura) districts (Telangana).
