Chodavaram Karanam Dharmasri, a YSRCP MLA from Anakapalli, has been selected as a government teacher. Many candidates have expressed gratitude to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for clearing the 1998 DSC candidates' files. There was also a YSRCP MLA among them. In response to media reports, a YSRCP MLA explained how he prepared, qualified for the exam and how he fought alongside his comrades to obtain the post legitimately. Karanam Dharmashree, a teacher, stated he would have joined as a teacher if the position had been available at the time.
