A footage of Sikhs fleeing leaving Kabul's Gurdwara Karte Parwan holding a holy book over their heads has gone viral. This comes after Islamic State terrorists carried out a full-fledged attack on the Gurdwara this morning. The incident claimed the lives of a Sikh devotee and a security guard. Terrorists launched uncontrolled fire inside the Gurdwara, causing many explosions at the gate. S Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, denounced the attack and tweeted, "The heinous attack on Gurdwara Karte Parwan should be strongly condemned by all. We have been keeping a careful eye on developments since learning of the incident. Our primary interest is the well-being of the community."
