Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of the Isha Foundation, attended the 'World Environment Day' ceremony at New Delhi's Vigyan Bhawan. The assemblage was addressed first by Jaggi Vasudev, also known as Sadhguru. On the occasion of World Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke at a session on the 'Save Soil Movement' in New Delhi on Sunday. PM Modi's participation in the programme reflects the country's shared concerns and commitment to improve soil health. The 'Save Soil Movement' is a global project that aims to raise awareness about deteriorating soil health and spur a concerted effort to fix it. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev launched the movement in March by embarking on a 100-day motorbike ride through 27 nations. The 75th day of the journey is June 5.
