Youth Congress workers rallied outside the DGP's office in Hyderabad, demanding harsh punishment for those involved in the Jubilee Hills gang r*pe. Several activists were apprehended. The Congress demanded the resignation of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister K T Rama Rao. The 17-year-old girl had gone to a pub in Hyderabad on May 28. She apparently met a boy who promised to drive her home. She and his companions left the club altogether. The juvenile girl was then allegedly gang-r*ped in a parked car in Jubilee Hills by the five suspects.
