Minister RK Roja stated that she would strive hard to make Andhra Pradesh a popular tourist destination. Roja took over as Minister of Tourism after special pujas were held in the Secretariat. In a later interview, she stated that initiatives would be taken to increase revenue through the tourism agency. In response to a query, RK Roja stated that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy is the brand ambassador for tourism in AP, and that she intends to enhance the tourist sector through reforms.
