Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party National General secretary Nara Lokesh dismissed the allegations laid by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu allegedly purchased the Pegasus spyware four years ago. Reacting to her allegations, Nara Lokesh stated that if TDP purchased the Pegasus spyware then the YS Jagan-led party won't secure the power in the state. He added that NSO Group approached the Andhra Pradesh government to provide its spyware but they refused it. It is known that CM Mamata Banerjee stated that NSO Group approached her to provide the Pegasus spyware for Rs 25 crore four years ago but she rejected the offer. She further alleged that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu purchased the spyware and now her statements flared up the political heat in the state.
