Got good cooperation from all during past two years: AP Governor

Vijayawada, July 24: Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan planted tree saplings in the Raj Bhavan premises to mark the occasion of completion of two years in office on Saturday. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, no programmes have been organized on the occasion.

Speaking to officers to and staff members of Raj Bhavan and officials of Indian Red Cross Society, AP State Branch, who met him on the occasion, Governor Harichandan said it is a matter of great pleasure for him to complete two years as Governor of Andhra Pradesh and he can never forget the love and affection he received from the people of Andhra Pradesh and said that he received good cooperation from the State Government and entire team of Raj Bhavan during the past two years.

He said that the Andhra Pradesh State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society has broken all records in tree plantation and blood donation and they have done lot of work even during the difficult Covid-19 pandemic. The Governor said that he had instructed the Red Cross Society officials to make it a mission to ensure that no life is lost in the State for want of blood.

A. Shyam Prasad, Joint Secretary to Governor, officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan met the Governor and greeted him on the occasion. Dr. A. Sridhar Reddy, Chairman and A.K. Parida, General Secretary of AP State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society, were among those who met the Governor and extended greetings to him.
