7th Phase Haritha Haram Program at Telangana State Forest Academy Dulapally

Hyderabad: Today the 7th phase of the Haritha Haram Program has been organized in Telangana State Forest Academy Dulapally, Hyderabad. The Chief Guest of the event is R. Sobha, IFS., Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & Head of Forest Force, Telangana State, P. V. Raja Rao, IFS., Director, Telangana State Forest Academy Dulapally, S. Ramesh, IFS, Addl. Director. The Deputy Directors, FROs, Trainees of Induction Training, and other staff of TSFA have participated in this program.

As part of the program, Forest Range Officers, Staff, Forest Range Officer Trainees (63), Forest Section Officer Trainees (27), and Forest Beat Officer Trainees (38) have planted 500 seedlings with an extent of 0.5 Ha area. The trainee's FRO Course are from other states Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tamilnadu, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana State have actively participated in Planting Programme.

The Chief Guest R. Sobha, IFS., Prl.CCF & Head of Forest Force, Telangana State, addressed the trainees and also recalled her training days at IGNFA, Dehradun (1986) and stated that in entire service this training period is golden period and shared her training experiences and also given direction to the trainees to develop more interest and commitment towards forestry profession by emphasizing the Roles & Responsibilities of the Forest Officers in protection and improvement of vegetation cover because the service in Forest Department is equal to the service to the society by providing fresh air and good atmosphere.
