CS Somesh Kumar holds meeting on Forest Clearances for the Road works under PMGSY
Hyderabad: Somesh Kumar IAS., Chief Secretary to Govt. of Telangana assured the Secretary, Rural Development, Government of India that the State Government will take all necessary measures to complete Forest clearances for the Road works under Prime Minister Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) by 15th March 2021.
Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary, RD, GoI, along with Forest department officials held a Video Conference today with all Chief Secretaries on Forest Clearances to take up road works under PMGSY and Road connectivity projects in areas affected with Left Wing Extremism.
Chief Secretary informed that compensatory afforestation lands will be identified and weekly review meetings with concerned officials will be held to complete the Forest clearances in stipulated time.
Shanti Kumari, Spl. Chief Secretary, EF & ST, Sunil Sharma, IAS., Prl. Secretary, TR&B, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, IAS., Secretary, PR&RD, Sobha, IFS., PCCF, Dobriyal, IFS., PCCF (SF), Sanjeev Rao, EnC, PR, Satish, Chief Engineer, R&B (LWE), and other officials attended the video conference.
