'The recent developments that are happening in Andhra Pradesh for the past 2-3 days are indicating that the ruling party leaders are concentrating more on their political rivals than containing the deadly Coronavirus. Even the nations known as superpowers are rattling with the fast-spreading of Coronavirus across the globe. The whole economy is dwindling. The hospitals in the nations of superpowers are facing it difficult to provide medical facilities to all the patients and appealing India to provide medicines like hydroxyl chloroquine. On the other hand, with a steep fall in the prices of petrol, the oil-producing countries are facing a severe crisis. All these consequences will show an adverse impact on us either directly or indirectly.

Coming to our country, lakhs of workers especially the migrating workers lost their livelihood and are starving with half meal outside their native places. Unable to find a way to sell their produce, the farmers are throwing their crops on the roads. Deadly Coronavirus which is shattering the world does not even spare Andhra Pradesh. If we see the pace of its fast-spreading, it is beyond our expectations when the pandemic will be brought under control. With the abnormal increase in the positive cases, fear grips people of Guntur, Kurnool and Krishna districts.

When the whole world is caught in the situation of a severe catastrophe, the ruling party leaders in Andhra Pradesh are resorting to mud-slinging on those who are highlighting their mistakes. They are shouldering political games in the critical times of providing emergency health services. What it appears that the personal criticism on BJP State president Sri Kanna Lakshminarayana is part of the game. The attack of character assassination on him is to be condemned by the democratic people. Instead, it reached to the level of demanding an apology from him.

In this period of crisis, Janasena Party is requesting all is that let’s keep politics at bay till the Corona pandemic is driven out from the State and the country. Let’s keep aside cheap politics. Let’s concentrate to unite all our energies to protect our people, their welfare, needs and resolving their starvation. Whatever happened is enough. If we will not stop doing politics, a threat of people’s revolt will loom large.' Pawan Kalyan said in a Statement.
