In a recent press conference, YCP Rajya Sabha member, Vijayasai Reddy, accused TDP chief Chandrababu of being a "skilled criminal". Vijayasai Reddy claims that Chandrababu is behind many cases in Amaravati, the Polavaram project, and several other instances. Vijayasai Reddy further commented that Chandrababu's corrupt practices have distanced politics from the general public, and accused him of linking politics to money. He highlighted instances of alleged insider trading during Hyderabad's development and fund diversion in skill development cases. Despite these allegations, Vijayasai Reddy noted that Chandrababu managed to get legal stays in many cases. He challenged Chandrababu to face investigations if he believes he is innocent. Vijayasai Reddy also mentioned that despite TDP's call for a protest following Chandrababu's arrest, there was no visible impact. He stressed that people no longer trust TDP or Chandrababu's words.
