In a strong response, the Congress party has answered BRS leader K Kavitha's recent question about why the Women's Reservation Bill was not mentioned in a letter from Congress President Sonia Gandhi to Prime Minister Modi. The Congress party underlined its dedication to women's empowerment, highlighting that the bill was successfully passed during their previous tenure. K Kavitha, who is the daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, staged a hunger strike back in March. She was urging for the reservation bill to be brought before the legislative body and approved.
