On the early morning of August 19th, Bengal Safari Park celebrated an increase in its tiger count to 13 as Tigress 'Rica' welcomed three newborn cubs. Surveillance footage from CCTV cameras, managed by Safari officials, showcased the tender care provided by the mother to her adorable offspring. Ensuring their well-being, the trio of cubs, along with their vigilant mother, is being closely monitored through CCTV cameras, reflecting their excellent health. Jyoti Priya Mallick, the Minister of Forest Affairs for West Bengal, expressed the exciting development to media, stating, "This remarkable news is a source of joy for wildlife enthusiasts and the general public alike. Rika, the sole tigress at Bengal Safari, has given birth to three cubs, all in robust health. We are committed to providing her with the best care, including the expertise of specialized veterinarians, and continuous surveillance through CCTV cameras." Additionally, authorities have plans to introduce a 'Lion safari' to the park in the near future.
