Dharmavaram, Sathya Sai District - Local MLA, Kethireddy Venkataramireddy, recently raised concerns with the Election Commission (EC) over an alleged 17,000 stolen votes in his constituency. In response, the EC tasked Block Level Officers (BLOs) to investigate. During his "Good Morning Dharmavaram" initiative, Venkataramireddy visited Shivanagar in Ward 7 to discuss the situation with the BLOs. When he inquired about the number of stolen votes they found and the whereabouts of missing residents, the BLO from the 175th polling station assured him that after a thorough door-to-door check, they found no evidence of stolen votes and that the residents were locally based. Two other BLOs reported similar findings. These findings seem to contradict Venkataramireddy's earlier claims, reinforcing opposition leaders' stance that his initial complaint had no basis. The situation left Venkataramireddy and accompanying YSRCP officials surprised.
