An auto carrying several female passengers, including a pregnant woman close to her delivery date, overturned near the Pedavadlapudi railway gate this morning. Mangalgiri MLA, Ramakrishna, who was traveling on the same road, immediately stopped his convoy upon witnessing the accident. With the help of his staff and locals, MLA Ramakrishna managed to right the auto and rescue all eight women inside. Noticing the distress of the pregnant passenger, Lavanya, he swiftly offered his vehicle to ensure she reached Tenali Hospital without delay, considering the potential risk to her unborn child. Residents have expressed their gratitude to MLA Ramakrishna for his quick thinking and compassionate response.
