India's space agency, ISRO, sent a Lander Module (LM) to the Moon on July 14 as part of their Chandrayaan-3 mission. Today, August 23, it's going to land on the Moon at about 6:04 p.m. IST. Here's what happened: On August 18, ISRO changed the LM's path to get it closer to the Moon. The next day, the lander separated from the part that gave it power for its month-long trip to the Moon. On August 20, ISRO did one more change to its path. Now, the lander, which has a rover inside it, is ready to touch down on the Moon. It will start its final move at around 5:45 p.m. before landing.
