As the inauguration of several significant projects, including the Suryapet District Collectorate, Integrated Agricultural Market, District SP Office, Medical College, and Bharasa District Party Office, was celebrated, Chief Minister KCR warned citizens against falling for empty election promises. Speaking at the 'Suryapet Progress Report Meeting', CM KCR openly criticized both Congress and BJP leaders, challenging their claims to bring development. "They're asking for a chance, but what did they achieve when they had numerous opportunities over 50 years?" He questioned, referencing past Congress ministers from the district and their contributions to Suryapet's development. Drawing comparisons between Suryapet's past and present state, he said, "During election times, many come forward with false promises. Voters shouldn't be deceived." He cast doubts on Congress's claim of offering a Rs. 4,000 old-age pension, pointing out inconsistencies in their rule in other states.
