On India's 77th Independence Day, a unique display unfolded as Indian Navy divers took the national flag, the Tiranga, into the depths of the sea. Accompanied by Indian Coast Guard (ICG) divers, they executed an extraordinary underwater flag demonstration near Tamil Nadu's Rameshwaram. The Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy actively participated in Prime Minister Modi's "Har Ghar Tiranga" (Every Home a Flag) initiative. The INS Rana, a missile destroyer, became the stage for this patriotic gesture. Naval personnel gathered on the vessel's deck, proudly holding the new Indian Navy insignia and the national flag at its center. Another frigate adorned with the flag could be seen in the background. Notably, divers from the navy's eastern fleet featured in a video, raising the national flag from beneath the waters. Additionally, Indian Coast Guard divers also raised the flag underwater, adding to the remarkable celebration of the nation's independence.
