Before Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put the National Flag as his display picture (DP) on social media. He wants to show support for the "Har Ghar Tiranga" movement. He said, "Let's change the DP of our social media accounts to the National Flag. This special effort will make us feel even closer to our beloved country." He hopes that many people will do the same to celebrate India's Independence Day. In his Mann Ki Baat speech on July 31, he mentioned that the government is starting the "Meri Mati Mera Desh" campaign to pay tribute to the heroes who gave their lives for the nation.
