According to the sources, Lakshita tragically succumbed to severe injuries inflicted by the leopard. Her parents promptly informed the police, leading to collaborative efforts involving the TTD Forest Department and law enforcement to find her remains. Despite combined efforts, pedestrians on foot discovered Lakshita's lifeless body the next morning, prompting immediate alerts to Tirumala staff. The police then examined the body, identifying it by specific marks described by the family. Lakshita's family expressed deep sorrow over the loss during their Tirumala visit.
