Today in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made remarks about the new name of the opposition grouping, INDIA, or the Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance. He suggested that by changing their name, the opposition is trying to divide the country. PM Modi pointed out that the opposition added two "I"s to NDA, indicating the arrogance of the 26 parties and the Congress. He commented, "They think a name change will help them rule India. The poor can see their name but not their actions." He also mentioned that the opposition has previously launched schemes under their own names, only to be involved in corruption later. "Just changing the name won't make a difference," said PM Modi in the Lok Sabha.
