Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, often called KCR, visited Hyderabad's Alwal to pay tribute to the famous poet Gummadi Vittal Rao, also known as Gaddar. KCR expressed his sadness over Gaddar's death and comforted Gaddar's family. He was joined by Ministers Harish Rao, Talasani Srinivas, and some other MLAs. KCR said in a statement on Sunday that Gaddar will always be remembered because he used his songs and dance to inspire people to want self-rule in Telangana. Further, he stated that Gaddar lived his life working for the people of the state.
