The revolutionary balladeer Gaddar, who was known as a people's poet, passed away at the age of 77 in Hyderabad on Sunday, August 6, after a short illness. Many leaders from different political parties and famous people from various parts of life came to pay their last respects to him. Gaddar's body was kept at LB Stadium since Sunday evening so that people could say their final goodbyes. The Telangana government announced on Sunday night that his last rites would be conducted with state honors. Today, the funeral process will take place at Alwal on the outskirts of the city.
