Peshawar: An Indian woman, Anju (34), who converted to Islam to marry her Pakistani boyfriend, Nasrullah (29), received gifts from a real estate businessman. Anju was given a check and documents for a piece of land measuring about 2,722 square feet. She recently moved from Rajasthan to Pakistan for the marriage, and the couple now resides in a village in the Upper Dil district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Mosin Khan Abbasi, CEO of a real estate firm, visited their house and handed over the gifts, wishing her well for her married life and offering support for her transition to a new culture.
