As the clock ticks closer to 3:30 PM today, the election fervor has taken over the Tollywood industry with two prominent panels, one led by Dil Raju and the other by C Kalyan, vying for control in the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce elections. Around 1500 members out of a total of 1700 eligible voters are expected to exercise their right to vote in this crucial election that occurs every two years. The elected members will serve for the term between 2023 to 2025, representing various segments of the industry, including exhibitors, distributors, directors, and studio owners. The battle between the two panels has been intense, with Dil Raju's group asserting that their team comprises producers actively involved in filmmaking, equipping them to tackle the industry's actual challenges effectively. On the other hand, C Kalyan's faction argues that Dil Raju and his affluent panel members have remained inaccessible to the ordinary industry workers, stifling their ability to voice their concerns
