The much-anticipated visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Telangana, scheduled for July 29, has faced a setback as it had to be cancelled for the second time. The state BJP had eagerly awaited this visit and had initially planned a public meeting in Khammam to mark the occasion. However, unforeseen circumstances have led to the cancellation of the event on both occasions. Despite the cancellations, Amit Shah showed his commitment to the state and decided to meet with party leaders to discuss crucial matters. The primary focus of the meeting was to strategize the party's approach in countering the BRS and Congress, while also addressing concerns related to internal indiscipline within the party. Unfortunately, the present adverse weather conditions in the state made it unfeasible for the Home Minister to proceed with the visit. Safety considerations have prompted the cancellation, and the party sources are now in the process of determining a suitable alternative date for the rescheduled
