In a heartening development, Velpula Navya, a resident of Garshakurti, Karimnagar district, is pursuing her dream of becoming a pilot with the support of the community. The government has provided a scholarship of Rs 36 lakh for her pilot training, but Navya faced an additional expense of three lakh rupees for ground training. As she hails from an economically disadvantaged family, the financial burden posed a significant challenge, and she considered giving up her dream. However, when the news of Navya's predicament reached the public through a report in Eenadu, many kind-hearted individuals came forward to offer financial assistance. Among those who responded to Navya's plight was Choppadandi MLA Sunke Ravi Shankar, who extended his support to the determined aspiring pilot. Moreover, BRS Working President and Minister of IT Municipal Administration, KTR called upon everyone to lend their support not only to Navya but also to help underprivileged individuals on the occasion of his birthday.
