Budda Venkanna, a senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), recently addressed the media about developments in the murder case of ex-Minister YS Vivekanand Reddy. He stated that YS Sharmila, the late Minister's relative, has shared crucial details about the case with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Venkanna expressed concern over Sharmila's safety, claiming that her life may be in danger due to her revelations. Venkanna suggested that Sharmila's fear of Chief Minister Jagan may have influenced her decision to establish her political party in Telangana instead of Andhra Pradesh. He also pointed to what he perceives as the Chief Minister's alleged negative behavior. In light of these concerns, Venkanna urged the central government to grant Sharmila Y Category status for her security. He declared his intention to write a formal letter to the central government requesting this measure.
