Mumbai: In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 27-year-old woman lost her life at Bandstand in Bandra. The incident garnered widespread attention after a video capturing the tragedy went viral on social media. The woman was attempting to take a selfie when she was swept away by a powerful current, leading to her drowning. The Indian Coast Guard conducted a search and recovered the woman's body. As the investigation unfolded, Bandra police discovered that the victim, identified as Sonar, had been visiting the Bandstand area with her husband, two children, and other family members from Rabale.
