Tirumala: Panic gripped the devotees and officials after a leopard was sighted at the 56th hairpin bend on the ghat road in Tirumala. The alerted forest officials are allowing the vehicles in groups. Efforts are currently underway to send the leopard into the wild. This incident follows closely on the heels of another incident where a leopard attacked a child on the Alipiri footpath. Now, a leopard has appeared yet again. Earlier, a four-year-old boy named Kaushik from Adoni in Kurnool district was attacked by a leopard near a police outpost. Kaushik suffered injuries behind his ear and on his head in this incident.
