State Finance Minister T Harish Rao confidently proclaimed that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), under the stalwart leadership of K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), is poised to secure a third consecutive electoral victory, irrespective of leadership changes or recruitment of veteran politicians in opposition parties. Speaking at a public gathering in Patancheru of Sangareddy district, Harish Rao expressed these remarks following the inauguration of several government buildings valued at Rs 10 crore. He boldly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA government at the Centre, accusing them of consistently letting down the State by withholding necessary funds. The Finance Minister pointedly criticized the central government's approach towards southern states, accusing it of making grandiose yet hollow promises. "They even revoked the coach factory that was pledged to Telangana," he highlighted. Harish Rao further questioned whether BJP-governed states were taking steps to execute projects analogous to Rythu Bima, Kalyana Lakshmi, and KCR Kits, underlining the apparent lack of similar initiatives.
