In a grand ceremony today, the highly anticipated sequel to iSmart Shankar, Double iSmart, officially began its journey under the dynamic duo of acclaimed director Puri Jagannadh and charismatic actor Ram Pothineni. The launch event, attended by key members of the production team along with some distinguished guests, marked the kickoff of this much-awaited project. The first shot of the film was skillfully directed by Puri Jagannadh himself, featuring the film's lead actor Ram Pothineni. Known for his vibrant on-screen presence, Pothineni declared the commencement of the project with the stylish phrase, "iSmart Shankar alias Double iSmart." Co-producer Charmme Kaur lent her own energy to the launch by sounding the clapboard, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting shoot. Regular filming for Double iSmart is slated to start on July 12, 2023. Double iSmart is set for a pan-India release, and set to hit screens on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, March 8, 2024.
